<description>The majority of the things you have written are lies, you have been fooled like the rest of the nation, by the press. You need to understand that papers make things up and sensationalise issues in order to sell copies, perhaps then you would see the bigger picture.

1) Shoesmith did apoligise on numerous occasions. This I can guarantee you. But nowhere was it reported. Would it have sold papers? Much more interesting to portray her as arrogant and self-righteous indeed.

2) You refer to a report which was damning, have you read it? I suggest you do so. You would think that Ed Balls was correct but rememer he is a politician. Much like papers, he needs something from us. Votes. Go to Ofted's website, read the report and you will see that the entire system was criticised across the country. And not just social services, but healthcare and the police. Many many Baby Ps happen week after week :(

3) Indications that horrific child abuse was taking place never existed and you are once again making things up according to implications you have read. Read the report.

4) You make some extremely abusive and presumptuous claims about Shoesmith. I presume you know her? She is not arrogant, nor is she incapable. She is a loving mother, caring friend and hard worker.

5) You claim to know what she cared about. You must know her well? Or did you read that in the Sun? Otherwise don't even begin to think you understand what she cared about or wanted. She's not lounging in a spacious flat, it's a tiny flat and she's never there, because she's working.

6) Shoesmith deserves justice from the people who have tried to destry her. It's not out of greed, it's a need, a basic human right. You might have forgotten she is a real human being. To live through media, public abuse as well as death threats to her, my sister and I - do you see that as some sort of karma?

Unfortunately we live in a world controlled by the media and politicians who both pursue their interests and agendas and to hell with anyone who gets in the way. I would ask you to try to see beyond that, understand the bigger picture and if you really still care all that much, apply to be a social worker. See for yourself.

Regards
